Developing an action plan

Developing an action plan to use throughout your recovery journey can be really useful. It can act as a reminder and motivation to keep going and is an easy tool to refer to when you are feeling distressed. We would recommend having it with you in a safe place so that you can refer to it throughout the day or week. For example, you could try taking a picture of it and having it saved on your home page on your phone.  Another suggestion may be to print it out and stick it on your bedroom wall to keep you motivated towards recovery.
