Your sport. Your distance. Your way.
Run, walk, cycle or swim to help raise funds so that we can be there to support those affected by eating disorders. You can complete your challenge in one day or take on your distance over one month.
Why not encourage your friends and colleagues to team up, and together you could raise even more vital funds for Beat.
So sign up, lace up and start your virtual challenge!
Please read our fundraising guidelines before choosing to take part in a virtual run. Your health and wellbeing is our priority above any fundraising event. If an exercise activity is not the right event for you, please take a look at our virtual quiz, craft and yoga ideas.
To get started, simply decide on the distance of your challenge, and set up your JustGiving page to let everyone know when, where and how far you’ll be running.
Remember to personalise your page and let everyone know why you want to run for Beat!
Once you have set up your page, our fundraising team will be in touch and will support you throughout your fundraising for Beat.
Top tip: Set up an account with a tracking app and share updates of your training on your JustGiving page to let people know how you're getting on. Don’t forget to post these updates to your Facebook page too!
Each year we support tens of thousands of people and their loved ones on their journeys towards recovery from an eating disorder. It’s supporters like you who make this possible and right now, your support is more important than ever. People with eating disorders were severely impacted by the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown. We saw a staggering increase in demand for our Helpline services and this remains really high.
£250 pays for 12 Helpline advisers for an hour shift, taking calls from people worried about themselves or a loved one. For many contacting Beat is the first step towards recovery.
If you have a ballot place in an event not listed by us, you can still run for Beat. Simply fill in our form to get started.
