Alice Matthews

I’m Alice and I have been a Programme Manager with Beat since January 2022.

I have managed two of our sufferer programmes and am now the Programme Manager for Nexus, our 1-1 coaching support programme for carers.

I am responsible for overseeing our Nexus programme, including operational processes, incoming referrals, team capacity and providing updates to commissioners. I manage a team of Programme Officers who deliver 1-1 telephone support, ensuring that they are delivering a high-quality service and that they receive effective feedback, coaching and training.

I feel extremely fortunate to be part of Beat. I feel passionately about the work that we do and strive to expand our reach to support as many people as possible who are impacted by the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders.

I live in South Wales with my partner, two young children and my border terrier. In my spare time I love to be in the outdoors; walking, trail running and having a dip in the sea.
