Dr Mima Simic, MSc, MD, MRCPsych is joint Head of the Maudsley Centre for Child and Adolescent Eating Disorder (MCCAED), London, UK since 2001 and Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. In 2010 she led the development of the novel Intensive day Treatment Program (ITP) that offers an integrative treatment approach combining RO Dialectical Behaviour Therapy with family therapy and multi-family therapy. She published over 90 peer review papers and authored three books: Cutting Down: An Evidenced-based CBT Workbook for Treating Young People Who Self-harm, (first and second edition), Multi-Family Therapy for Anorexia Nervosa and The Radically Open DBT Workbook for Eating Disorders.
